Initiative (ESSHI). The supportive housing units will serve multiple special needs populations. The remaining 36 units will be available to other individuals and families with limited income and resources. 

The building will be comprised of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, and will also include a public meeting space, laundry facilities, a fitness area, and workspaces for property management staff and various support personnel.

Nameoke Avenue Apartments

Nameoke Avenue Apartments will consist of 117 total units of housing; 71 units designated as supportive, service enhanced apartments for formerly homeless individuals with mental health challenges and 45 units targeted for income eligible individuals and families. The existing building, which is in disrepair, will be demolished and an approximately 80,000 square foot, nine story building will be constructed.


Amenities will include office and supportive services meeting rooms, a gym, and a community/recreation room for use by building residents. 


Dominic Drive Apartments

Development of a 3-story multi-family building providing a total of 60 residential units. Half of the 60 units are designated as Supportive Housing, funded by the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI), and are intended to house homeless individuals and/or families who struggle with mental illness or substance abuse. The remaining 30 units will be affordable housing, available to individuals and families meeting income criteria.


The project will include a community room with kitchen, a computer room, a mail/package room, a gym area, and an outdoor playground for use by all residents. Transitional Services also intends to provide transportation via shuttle bus to planned recreational and social events, as well shopping and other resources. 


Friendship Lodge

New construction of a three-story, 64 unit, affordable and supportive apartment building on a 34 acre site in Johnstown, NY. The building is laid out across two residential wings connected by a central hub, with 31 units of affordable workforce housing and 21 units of housing for formerly homeless individuals with a mental health diagnosis. The project will also include the relocation of 12 supported housing units currently subsidized by the NYS Office of Mental Health. 


Holland Circle Drive Apartments

New construction of 48-units, multifamily, affordable and supportive apartments. 24 units units are designated as Supportive Housing, funded by the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI). The residential units are split between four separate buildings connected to a central community hub. Site constraints related to protected wetlands will limit the project to 5 acres of developed area inclusive of the building, parking lots, walkways, landscaping, utility infrastructure and storm water management systems. The 3-story building will include amenities for residents along with case management and care coordination.

Pitkin Avenue Apartments

A six-story, 58-unit affordable / supportive housing residence with program spaces for seniors with incomes up to 60% AMI, pursuant to Affordable Independent Residence for Seniors (AIRS) zoning. The 42,400 square foot building on the corner of Warwick St. & Pitkin Ave. in Brooklyn will include offices for supportive services staff, consultation and medication rooms, a community room, and computer lounge. The project is expected to meet NYSERDA’s Enterprise Green Communities 2015 Criteria with HPD Overlay and will include solar PV panels and green roof.


Homes for Heroes

​Homes for Heroes Veterans Apartments is a 14-unit permanent supportive housing project for homeless veterans being developed by Homes for Heroes in collaboration with Loeb House as a sponsoring organization. The Project represents the second phase, adding to the first 8 units of supportive housing for homeless veterans which has successfully been in operation since 2013.
The Project is located at the former Military Port of Embarkation, “Camp Shanks”, in Orangetown, New York.

As part of Governor Cuomo's Vital Brooklyn initiative, NYS Homes & Community Renewal has chosen Herkimer Gardens, a 121 unit mixed-use development with a significant emphasis on Supportive Services, to promote health and wellness for seniors in the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood. Federation of Organizations is both the Sponsor and the lead supportive services provider and is a leader in providing housing and daily living assistance to seniors in the NYC Metro area. In addition to housing, Herkimer Gardens will also include on-site urgent care facilities, a wellness center with physical therapy equipment, a food access assistance center, community and recreation space, a computer lounge and a variety of modern amenities designed for senior living and independence.

Clifford Avenue Apartments

A new affordable and integrated supportive housing community in the Northeast Quadrant of the City of Rochester. The proposed development would provide a total of 164 new and high-quality affordable

apartments for individuals, families, persons with mental illness and survivors of domestic violence, including Extremely Low Income and Low Income households.

The proposed infill development consists of seven new buildings spread across three vacant and unused lots, which currently blight the neighborhood. The development will include a Convenience Store and community programming space.

​CSD Housing will create a workforce/affordable housing apartment community for individuals and families in Rochester. The 5 story, 112-unit apartment building is located on the active corner of East Ave. and Union St, formerly part of the City's Inner Loop redevelopment. Thirty five units are reserved for frail elderly residents with supportive services coordinated by Episcopal Seniorlife Community. Twenty units are reserved for Homeless Veterans with supportive services coordinated by Eagle Star Housing. 

Lock 7 Apartments

Cypress Avenue Apartments

​A 66-unit Intergenerational Residence on Cypress Ave in the Ridgewood section of Queens. The five-story, 51,000 square foot building will have a lounge, community room, pantry, and office space for supportive services staff. 


School Street Apartments

Catherine Street Apartments

A four-story, 50-unit apartment building on Syracuse's North Side for low-income families and people with mental health conditions. The new building has arch-shaped architectural features to mimic the arched doorways of the largest of the three buildings that were demolished to make way for the new construction.


Greenport Gardens Apartments

Star Park Apartments

illness. The remaining 20 units will be reserved for individuals and families earning no more than 60% of the area median income (AMI). Onsite support services for tenants will be provided by Central New York Services.

Trolley Station Apartments
